Prof. Kaustav Majumdar, an alumnus of London Business School and the University of Southampton, UK with 26 years of experience and a long list of professional achievements, including one in Psychometrics from the University of Cambridge shared the importance of perception management and utilization of digital marketing in reaching the right audience. Kaustav teaches at MICA, Ahmedabad. SPJIMR Mumbai, IIIT Lucknow, IMT Ghaziabad, and Globsyn, Kolkata. Kaustav works closely with various organizations in sustainability and helps high social impact organizations flourish.
Prof.Rahul Rungta; a digital marketing veteran gave lots of hands-on training in using digital marketing and google analytics in connecting with the right audience and making the desired impact. His clients include Sussex University, IIM, Lions Clubs International, Accenture, and MS Dhoni among a long and impressive list.
Dr.Nirja Mattoo shared the key features of creating the right winning proposal to get the needed funds. She is a passionate social entrepreneur and pioneer. In her extensive career spanning four decades, she has worked in leadership positions in various national and international non-profit organizations.
The Workshop was conducted as the inaugural offering of SAMVEDNA- The Social Sensitivity Initiative which is a full course for MBA students at PIMR, Indore. Through this initiative, the institute strives to inculcate sensitivity and empathy in students and also give back to society. Students will learn sustainable management and working with grassroots realities through these social internships. Dr. Davish Jain, Chairman, of Prestige Education Foundation and Chancellor of Prestige University shared the story of reviving the Soybean Industry in Central India in his address. The workshop was mentored by Dr. Debasis Mallik, Senior Director, PIMR, Indore, and coordinated by Dr. Jyoti Vyas Bajpai, Associate Professor, PIMR.
