PSPIC MACAY under the aegis of Prestige Institute brought together some of India’s most talented artists to celebrate the country’s rich and cultural heritage. The event held at Prestige Institute of Management And Research, Indore, featured a fabulous showcase of Indian classical music and dance performances.
Dr. Davish Jain, Dr. Iyer and Dr. Bajpai welcomed renowned artists- Mr. Devendra Khare, an upcoming Odissi Dancer and founder of Nrityashala, Indore along with Ms. Mahi Khare, who attracted the audience with their mesmerizing performances.
Mr. Devendra and Ms. Mahi Khare presented their first performance on stage named as Manglacharan. Ms. Mahi Khare, another talented performer, presented their second performance on Vasant Pallavi , based on Vasant Raag with Beautiful movements.Both the artists left the audience mesmerized with their exceptional performances.
Mr. Devendra Khare, an upcoming Odissi Dancer and founder of Nrityashala,Indore, showcased his skills in the classical dance form of Odissi. Mr. Khare was drawn to learn Odissi style because of his guru, late Smt Dalia Dutta. He received his formal training in Odissi and graduated from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya. Mr. Khare has performed on various prestigious stages such as Malwa Utsav Singapore, Indian cultural relation Bali, Iskcon Singapore, IIDF Mumbai, Tribe Museum Bhopal, and Kalidas Academy Ujjain. Mr. Khare was blessed to have attained guidance under Guru shri Bichitrananda Swain, Bhuvneshwar Orissa, and then became a part of Rudrakash Dance Foundation in 2017.Overall, the event was successfully completed. This cultural program- PSPIC MACAY was organised by Dr. Raksha Thakur, Dr. Priyanka
Chawla and few student coordinators to inspire the youth by exposing them to the
richness of Indian heritage. At the end vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Raksha Thakur.
