PIMR National Award For Management Excellence

This award has been instituted to honors eminent personalities who have made significant contributions in the field of Management Education and Industry. All the recipients are distinguished and exemplary in their areas of endeavour. The luminaries include Professor Udai Pareek, Professor Dharni P. Sinha, Pfofessor Y.K. Bhushan, Pfofessor Ishwar Dayal, Pfofessor Joe Philip, Pfofessor S.K. Chakraborty Padmashri, Dr. Pritam Singh and Dr. M.R. Rao.

		PIMR Lifetime Achievement Award
		The award has been instituted to honour eminent persons who have made significant contribution in their fields of specialization. The first awards was conferred on the legendary cricketer padmashri Captain Mushtaq Ali for bringing laurels to the Country. The second award was conferred on Professor A.K.P. Sinha, Ex-director General, Defense Psychological Research Institute, New Delhi for his contribution to the field of Psychology.

Best Ph. D. Thesis Award

The award is conferred on the research scholar for his work in the discipline of Management every year. It is aimed at acknowledging the efforts research scholar of towards constructive research. The contest is open to full time faculty members of B-Schools in India other than the faculty of Prestige Group of Education Institution. The best Ph. D. Thesis Award for the year 2004 was awarded to Dr. J.K. Nandi, Nagpur University, Nagpur. For the year 2005,

The Best Ph.D. Thesis Award was conferred on Dr. Mousumi Bhattacharya, IIT, Kharagpur. For the year 2006, the Best Ph.D Thesis was conferred on Dr. V.K Khanna, IIT, Delhi. For the Year 2007, the Best Thesis Award was conferred on Dr. Idrani Bhattacharjee, ITS , Ghaziabad.

Shri Mohan Lal Bhagat Case Prize

This prize has been instituted with an endowment fund donated by the family members of Late Shri Mohan Lal Bhagat in his memory. This cash prize of Rs.1000/- is awarded to the topper of MBA (First year) full time every year.

Shri Mohan Lal Bhagat Memorial Gold Medal

This medal has also been instituted with an endowment fund donated by the family members of Late Shri Mohan Lal Bhagat in his memory. This Medal is awarded to the topper of MBA (Final Year) full time every year.

PIMR Faculty Gold Medal

With a view to reward merit and hardwork in the marketing stream in the present challenging scenario, PIMR faculty has instituted a gold medal for the topper of MBA full time (Marketing Specialization).

Shri Ashish Goel Memorial Gold Medal

The award has been instituted by Shri B.K. Goel, father of Late Shri Ashish Goel who was a student of MBA-full time final year (Finance Specialization) at the Institute. Shri Ashish Goel passed away in the prime of his youth. This award is given to the topper of MBA full time (Finance Specialization) every year.

PIMR Staff Gold Medal

This medal has been instituted to recognize the meritorious students in the Human Resources specialization, and is given to the topper of MBA full time (Human Resource Specialization), every year.

Shri Chhavi Jain Memorial Gold medal

This medal has been instituted in the memory of late Shri Chhavi Jain who was a young entrepreneur and a technocrat. The medal is awarded every year to the topper of MBA full time (Systems Specialization).

PIMR Director's Gold Medal

In the cut throat competition, it has become imperative for industrial houses to keep their executives abreast with latest developments. To encourage the executives, Director PIMR has instituted a gold medal which is awarded every year to the MBA part time topper.

PIMR Gold Medal

This medal has been instituted to encourage young professionals to accept international challenges in global scenario. This medal is awarded to topper of MBA (IB) every year.

PIMR Chairman's Gold Medal

This medal has been instituted to encourage the young generation to undertake management education at the undergraduate level. The medal is awarded to the topper of BBA every year.

PIMR Fraternity Gold Medal

This medal has been instituted to recognize the efforts of young and dynamic students in the era of computerization at undergraduate level. This medal is awarded to the topper of BCA every year.

Shri Chhavi Jain Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is to needy and meritorious students to facilitate such students in pursuing their education.

PIMR Alumni Gold Medal

This medal has been instituted to recognize the efforts of young creative minds who have constructively channelized their efforts into the world of advertising. This medal is awarded to the topper of MBA (APR) every year.

PES Gold Medal

Prestige Education Society Gold Medal has been instituted to recognize the efforts of young and energetic students aiming at a successful career in marketing. This medal Is awarded to the topper of MBA (MM) every year.

PIMR Award for Personnel Administration

Prestige award for Personnel Administration has been instituted to recognize the efforts of young and energetic students aiming at a successful career in Personnel Administration. This medal will be awarded to the topper of MBA (PA) from 2007 onwards every year.

Prestige Award for Finance

Prestige award for Financial Administration has been instituted to recognize the efforts of young and energetic students aiming at a successful career in Finance. This medal will be awarded to the topper of MBA (FA) from 2008 onwards every year.

Prestige Best Teacher Award

Best Teacher Award is instituted to award the best faculty based on the basis of quality of teaching and patience as reflected through students and peers feedback.

Prestige Best Researcher Award

Best Research Award is instituted to recognize the research aptitude of the Faculty of the Institute Based on the publication in referred National and International Journals and Conference as evaluated by the research award committee.

Awards and Achievements received by PIMR

1.	In recognition of its performance and high standards in providing quality education, the Institute has been conferred Autonomous Status by the University Grants Commission as well as Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya on the recommendation of a high powered expert committee appointed by UGC to inspect the Institute. This is a major milestone for the Institute.
2.	The MBA program offered by the Institute has been accredited by National Board of Accreditation of the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi.
3.	In view of performance of the Institute, Devi Ahilya University has accorded permanent affiliation to the Institute.
4.	The University Grants Commission, New Delhi has recognized the Institute under 2(f) and 12(b) Sections.
5.	The Institute has been ranked consistently in the upper edge of top ranking business schools in the nation-wide surveys carried out by the agencies like Business Today, Cosmode, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Business India and Outlook - which has enabled the Institute to achieve significant position amongst B-schools in the country. The Institute was ranked 4th in Central and Eastern regions of the country by one such survey and 2nd in the State of Madhya Pradesh by another survey. The achievements of the Institute in a short span of fourteen years of its existence have been appreciated widely.
6.	Most of the courses of study are taught to inculcate in the students the ability to analyze the problems and to develop analytical skills and an appropriate approach to problem solving.
7.	Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry, Brno, Czech Republic and Prestige Institute of Management and Research (An Autonomous Institution), Indore, agreed in principle to develop closer ties between the two Institutions of learning in the field of modern Management Education.
8.	A Global News Magazine Eurasia Times ranked the Institute as the Top Management Institute in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE INSTITUTE

The Institute has the privilege of releasing First PIMR International Journal in 2009. The Journal has also obtained ISSN No. for the International Journal and the journal is released twice in a year.
The Institute has been widely recognized for making significant contribution to knowledge through the publication of its works.
The Institute is able to attract academicians from business schools from all over the country in faculty development programs such as case writing workshops, research methodology workshops and national conferences.
The Institute is represented in number of national and international professional bodies.
Faculty member of the Institute are appointed as paper setters and examiners by number of reputed institutions anduniversities.
Institute has been publishing a research journal since 1997. The journal has earned good reputation in the country and abroad. The journal is subscribed by a large number of individuals/institutions. 85 institutions across the globe are offering their journals in exchange. Another journal was started in 2004 to facilitate the researchers to seen the latest research. This journal presents the abstracts of the papers published world wide.
PIMR has established itself as a front ranking institute in the country. It has conducted management development programs for senior and middle level executives of leading business houses in the country. The Institute has conducted 58 in-house/ unit based training programs so far.
The Institute offers consultancy in the areas of Finance, Marketing, HRM, Systems, Production, General Management and Education. The Institute has provided consultancy to Institutions like Aegis School of Telecommunication, Indore Directorate of Distance Education, Pondicherry University, Pondicherry, NMIMS Deemed University at Mumbai and Ganpat University at Mehsana in Gujarat.

1.	Best Research paper award was conferred on Dr. Alok Bansal during the NICOM International conference held at Nirma Institute of Management and Research, Ahmedabad from January 8-10, 2009.
2.	Best Teacher Award was conferred on Dr. Anukool M.Hyde during Third PIMR International conference 2009 held on February 7-8, 2009.
3.	Distinguish Service Award of AIMS International was conferred on Dr. Alok Bansal during the AIMS International Conference on Management held at Indian Business Academy, Grater Noida from December 28-30, 2008.
4.	Best Research paper award was conferred on Dr. Nitin Tanted during the Doctoral Thesis conference held at ICFAI, Hyderabad from February 8-9, 2008.
5.	Best Teacher Award was conferred on Mr.Nitin Merh during Second PIMR International conference 2008 held on Janurary 30-31,2008.
6.	Best Research paper award was conferred on Dr. Arun B. K. during the NICOM International conference held at Nirma Institute of Management and Research, Ahmedabad from January 9-11, 2008.
7.	Best Research paper award was conferred on Mr. Arun B. K. during the NICOM International conference held at Nirma Institute of Management and Research, Ahmedabad from January 4-6, 2007.
