1. The Institute has signed MOU with two Foreign Universities namely Mendel University Czech Republic, Mahidol University , Bangkok, Thailand.
2. Academic Collaboration with Chiang Mai University, Thailand (Under Process).
3. The Institute has signed MOU with AISEC for Student and Faculty exchange within India and Abroad.
4. Dr. Upinder Dhar attended the Annual MCGA –2003 on Asian Corporate Governance : The Emerging Structure held at  Mandarin Oriental Manila, Makati, Philippines on  September 4-5, 2003 organised by Asian Institute of Management, Manila.
5. Dr. Santosh Dhar presented a research paper in the Seventh Annual Asia Pacific Risk and Insurance (APRIA) Conference organised by Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok from July 20-23, 2003.

1. The Director of the Institute has been on the National Executive Board of  AIMS (Association of  Indian Management Schools) for seven years in different capacities. Currently, he is having second terms as Treasurer of AIMS.
2. Faculty members of the Institute have been examiners for evaluating Ph.D. students of the University of Pune; NITIE, Mumbai; M.L. Sukhadia University, Udaipur, Jiwaji University, Gwalior; A.P.S. University, Rewa; Barkatullah University, Bhopal; Osmania University etc.
3. Faculty of the Institute has been on the Boards of  Studies as subject experts in Jiwaji University, Gwalior; M.L. Sukhadia  University, Udaipur etc.
4. PIMR was awarded Fellowship of the European Foundation for Management Development and Asia Link Program of European Commission to facilitate its representation at the South Asian Management Forum held at Lahore, Pakistan in 2004.
5. PIMR was awarded Commonwealth Fellowship to facilitate its representation at the South Asian Management Forum held at Thimpu, Bhutan in 1998.
6. The Institute was invited to attend a Colloqium on Strategies for Financing Business and Management Schools in South Asia for Heads of Institutions held at Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1997.
7. The Institute had the opportunity to coordinate the AIMS-CCMS project on Empowerment of Women through Enterprise, which was sponsored by Canadian Consortium of Management Schools (CCMS) and funded by Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).
8. The faculty of the Institute is on the panel of reviewers for various national and international journals. For instance, one faculty is on the reviewers’ panel of International Journal for Training and Development published by Blackwell limited from UK and USA.
9. The faculty of the Institute have been acting as resource persons for other academic and profession Institutions.
10. The Institute has developed linkages with premier Institutions in the country. For instance, Institute produced a  working paper jointly with  IIM, Ahmedabad  in 1999. 
11. The Institute conducted a two-weeks AICTE sponsored Faculty Development Program in 2004.
12. The Institute is the only Study Centre of the Directorate of Distance Education, Pondicherry University in the State of Madhya Pradesh since 1998.
13. ISTD Indore Chapter hosted by the Institute was awarded the Best Small Chapter Award in 2002-2003.
14. Senior faculty of the Institute are recognized as supervisors  for guiding  doctoral students in Symbiosis International Education Centre, Deemed University, Pune.
